My name is Erica Evora and I am a Toronto based graphic designer. Art is a creative skill that I am passionate about and have a great appreciation for. Throughout my years of being within the fashion industry, I’ve had much exposure to different aspects of design and layouts. I graduated from the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing program. I have an extensive background within the fashion industry, working as a visual merchandiser and stylist. 

 

I learned about the importance of graphic design and the role it plays in marketing and branding. Creating logos for brands is what sparked my interest in design then I began to emerge myself in editorial layouts which led me to create my magazine EVORA. I started to understand the design principles and began discovering and improving on my aesthetic craft.

 

I obtained a certificate at OCAD university in graphic design and realized that the field had more to explore. Later I decided to take a more in depth course at the Toronto film school where I obtained my diploma in graphic design and broadened my knowledge and skills within the industry.

 

Pursuing a career in graphic design was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and hope to grow and maximize my potential in this field.
